Course Description

The Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential was developed by CCE, in collaboration with the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and the National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee in the mid-1990s. This hybrid course consists of the education of career development facilitators. Core competencies of the program include: development of interpersonal skills, labor market information, career development assessments, understanding diverse populations, ethical and legal issues, career development models, employability skills, training clients and peers, program management and implementation, promotion and public relations, technology and consultation. This course is 120 hours.

The majority of this program will be delivered online (96 hours) and also via Zoom (24 hours). Participants will need a computer or laptop with reliable internet. Using a phone or tablet is not recommended.

It is the responsibility of the individual to determine if they are eligible to take the GCDF exam through CCE or NCDA. Visit http://cce-global.org/credentialing/gcdf for more information. You must complete a required amount of supervised career development experience commensurate with your level of education.
